Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator specializing in new construction residential projects. As an HVAC Estimator, you will be responsible for utilizing engineering software to design HVAC systems, primarily focusing on ductwork and sizing, ensuring optimal efficiency and performance for our clients' homes. This full-time position is based at our facility and requires 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
1. Engineering Software Utilization:
Utilize advanced engineering software to design HVAC systems for new construction residential houses.
Generate accurate and detailed plans for ductwork layout and HVAC sizing.
2. Ductwork Design:
Develop comprehensive ductwork designs to ensure efficient and balanced airflow.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate ductwork seamlessly within the overall construction plans.
3. HVAC Sizing:
Determine each project's appropriate HVAC system size based on load calculations, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct thorough analyses to optimize equipment selection and performance.
4. Collaboration:
Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate HVAC designs seamlessly into overall construction plans.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to address design considerations and modifications.
5. Quality Assurance:
Conduct reviews and quality checks on HVAC designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues promptly.
